This Labour weekend in Wanaka sees the annual Wanakafest Day on Saturday 25 October. It will be a fantastic day down on the waterfront (fine weather is forecast) and there will be lots of really fun activities, some of which will include:
The annual Rotary Duck Race, the Polar Plunge swim and the Kahu Youth Cardboard Boat Race. There will be lots of local musicians and bands playing and plenty of street stalls to spend your money on.
It is also the 100 year Anniversary of Rippon Vineyard – 100 years on the land and 30 years of winemaking.
