Charles Darling

After starting his career in Dunedin, Charles spent some time travelling overseas before returning to New Zealand and making Christchurch home. He enjoys being part of the Christchurch community and getting to know the people he works with.

Charles works in family and civil litigation and particularly enjoys the people-focused side of his work. He understands that legal issues can come up at some of the most stressful and challenging times in a person’s life, and he enjoys helping clients work through these situations with confidence and a clear understanding of their options. He takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and what matters to them, providing practical advice and support along the way.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with friends. He plays hockey and enjoys skiing and hiking, making the most of everything the South Island has to offer.
