We’re delighted to announce the arrival of Solicitor Lucy Conway, who’s specialising in Family Law alongside Senior Associate Gillian Stuart.
And, given Wanaka’s always been her “home away from home”, Lucy’s just as rapt to be here.
After completing a double degree in Law and Commerce at the University of Canterbury, Lucy worked in the Wellington office of a leading New Zealand law firm.
With a passion for skiing and the great outdoors, the mountains of Wyoming in the United States beckoned, and she spent two and a half years skiing, mountain-biking and managing two amazing cafés right next to Yellowstone National Park.
When she’s not in the office or the great outdoors, you’ll probably find this dedicated foodie in the kitchen whipping up a wholefood-based recipe … or indulging her weakness for a great coffee and croissant.
Why Wanaka?
“When I saw the job advertised at Aspiring Law, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to combine all my passions!” Lucy says.
“I love working with people, value good communication, honesty and openness.
“I have a particular interest in Family Law, and I’ve always wanted to use my law degree to help those who otherwise couldn’t help themselves.”
As well as embarking on plenty of alpine adventures, Lucy’s also eying up another job: teaching yoga in her spare time.
