We’ve got some exciting news to share with you in this latest edition.
New Director
Steph Gifford, previously Senior Associate, officially became co-director of Aspiring Law alongside Janice on 30 September.
Steph is based in our Christchurch office and heads our growing team there. She has a wealth of experience across a diverse range of areas including trusts; private client estate and asset planning; relationship property; and commercial and residential conveyancing.
Steph is excited to be joining Janice at the helm and considers it an absolute privilege to be leading such a great team. She’s looking forward to getting to know and work with many of you in the months to come.

Outgoing Director
Moving and shaking his way into retirement is Mike, who many of you know well.
Mike’s not moving into retirement just yet though, so you’ll continue to see him around. Mike officially retired as a shareholder of Aspiring Law on 30 September, but will remain with us as a consultant until the end of March next year.
Welcoming our latest team member
Last, but not least. We’re delighted to welcome aboard Zoe Summerville.
Zoe joins us on 9 October as a Senior Solicitor and will be working across Employment law, Property and Commercial matters based in Wanaka.
