Have you ever considered that one day you might not be able to make decisions about business or family matters due to incapacitation? It pays to be prepared for a time when you might not understand the nature and consequences of decisions and/or the ability to communicate these decisions. This is where enduring power of attorney in relation to personal care and welfare can come into play.

In short, enduring power of attorney is when you give someone (or a company) the legal right to act on your behalf in relation to one or more aspects of your life e.g. your finances, property, or healthcare.
