In this article, I will suggest some tips, which take into account a child’s development stage, that parents can consider when determining care arrangements.
When couples separate or divorce, one of the most important and challenging things to consider is care arrangements for their children. A separation is a traumatic thing for any child to go through, even more so, depending on what development stage they are at.
As the lockdown restrictions are eased, new guidance from the Ministry of Justice highlights changes to parenting arrangements. It covers arrangements set out in court orders (under the Care of Children Act 2004) as well as any private arrangements between parents/caregivers and children.
